Associated Students Hosted Earth Day Festival 

Butte College Associated Students hosted an Earth Day Festival on Thursday, April 21 at the Butte College Main Campus, Campus Center.  

The event featured performances from the Konkow Valley Band of Maidu Dancers and Singers, and a group of Brazilian dancers and drummers. The guest speaker was Amy Roseman of the Butte County Local Food Network. There was a variety of information and activity booths throughout the festival, including a trash display from MESA, Brazilian dance and drum instruction, and regional recovery updates from the Campfire Restoration Project. There was a collective chalk art mural to which attendees contributed. Lunch was provided by the Tea Bar.

      . - Chalk Drawing, Scavenger Hunt and Hemp Museum

    • 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.
      - Lunch

    • 1 p.m.
      - End of Event
